Adjustment Free Restorative Dentistry with emphasis on Cosmetic Dentistry and Occlusion
         C.E. Credit - 14 units of California CE credit / An ADA CERP recognized provider.

THIS TWO-DAY SEMINAR WILL BE OF SPECIAL INTEREST TO PRACTITIONERS WHOSE GOAL IS TO DELIVER THE HIGHEST QUALITY DENTISTRY AVAILABLE IN THE WORLD TODAY.

    
The objective of this course is to familiarize the participants with the general philosophy and rationale of a time tested approach to restorative treatment based upon solid principles that can be routinely demonstrated clinically. Skills necessary to master all phases of adhesive and aesthetic dentistry will be addressed as well. Diagnosis and treatment planning procedures that will allow you to avoid expensive and embarrassing failures will be presented. The participants will be shown by means of clinical cases, all of the necessary steps to insure the best possible chance for successful and rewarding treatment for both the patient and the practitioner.
     Problems and problem cases will be discussed openly and candidly and methods for avoiding pitfalls will be emphasized. How to integrate these procedures into practice will also be discussed.
     This course is of special interest to those practitioners whose goal is to develop and maintain a true quality practice. In today's changing world of HMO's, PPO's, capitation, managed care and other third party interference in the practice of dentistry, it is invaluable to have a forum in which the philosophy, skills and modalities necessary to develop an independent quality practice can be taught.

THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THE PRESENTATION WILL INCLUDE...

Occlusion Session
This session will cover the importance of occlusion in all phases of dentistry with special emphasis on:
1. Treatments that ensure success in all aspects of restorative dentistry, ranging from single tooth restoration to full mouth reconstruction.
2. Diagnosis and treatment planning for both simple and complex restorative cases.
3. Evaluation of clinical cases to explore reasons for long term success or failure.
4. The rationale and methodology of splint treatment for comprehensive restorative and T.M.D. cases.

Cosmetic Session
This session of the seminare will provide detailed insight into the total spectrum of adhesive dental treatment with an emphasis on:
1. Current dentin bonding systems and light curing techniques.
2. Current materials available for direct and indirect posterior restorations.
3. Techniques for the preparation and placement of Class I and Class II direct composite restorations.
4. Techniques for the preparation, impressions, temporization, lab communication, material selection, and cementation of indirect posterior and anterior restorations.

ADVANCED RESTORATIVE and ADHESIVE / AESTHETIC DENTISTRY
(The 2-day course satisfies the prerequisite)

     An advanced continuing program whose goal is to enable the restorative dentist to master the techniques and philosophy necessary to develop the ultimate quality practice Also included are the skills necessary to master all phases of adhesive and aesthetic dentistry
     The curriculum includes diagnosis, comprehensive treatment planning and exposure to the techniques necessary to accomplish all restorative treatment from the simplest of cases through full mouth restoration. The treatment of TMD is also covered in detail..

This is an in depth restorative program that is considered to be unsurpassed in the world.
   1. Developing the Quality Practice
   2. Diagnosis and treatment planning from the very simple to most complex cases including
       orthodontic, orthognathic, surgical and periodontal considerations.
   3. Diagnosis and treatment of TMD
       a. symptomatic relief
       b. transitional care
       c. definitive treatment
       d. proper use of splints
   4. In depth adhesion and aesthetic techniques

   5. Imaging methods and interpretation. (dental, maxillo-facial, TMJ, and implant imaging).
   6. Mastery of fully adjustable articulator systems. (Why and when they are indicated).
   7. Quadrant dentistry.
   8. Full mouth reconstruction.

       f. how to establish vertical dimension.

   9. Equilibration-when it can be done and methods.
 10. Partial denture prosthesis.
 11. Full denture prosthesis.

A full mouth reconstruction case will be performed live on a patient at the 
          facility during the sessions.
